Wedding at Venezia Boston | Alex + Matt

My eyes lit up when I spoke to Alex and Matt last fall to learn more about them and their wedding day.

When I asked them what they wanted to see and feel from their day twenty years from now they talked about candid, genuine moments, little looks, and they wanted to be taken right back to that day.

I hope that they will see and feel these moments when they see Alex getting ready with her mom and bridesmaids. She’ll remember her aerobic activities to keep her nerves away and the butterflies that she felt in her stomach.

I hope they will remember and feel the magic of their first look and how it felt to see each other for the first time.

I hope that Alex will feel Matt placing his mother’s bracelet on her arm again.

I hope they will see and feel the laughter as Matt danced around and Alex got to only bend her knees so that her dress would stay clean and dry.

I hope they will remember the sunshine that came out after a morning of clouds and downpours of rain.

I hope they will feel the genuine moments of deep love, laughter, and joy through each reading at their ceremony, their vows, placing their rings, and their walk back down the aisle together.

I hope that every time they see themselves dancing they will hear their first dance song and be taken right back to that day.

Congratulations, Alex and Matt!! Thank you for the honor to be part of your day. It has been an absolute joy to get to know you both. I’m so excited for you, Teddy and Bear:) You’ve got a lot of sunshine in your life!! xo, Shawon
