Alden Castle Wedding | Katherine + Pete

Ahhh, I’m so excited to share some favorite moments from Katherine and Pete’s beautiful Alden Castle wedding on Saturday.

A country music concert, Fenway Park, and Citgo. What do these three things have in common?

The perfect combination for Katherine and Pete meeting each other for the first time. It was a magical moment and they both left telling their loved ones all about this great guy that I just met(from Katherine), and (from Pete) this great girl that he met and spent the whole night talking to his best friend about.

Three months would go by before their first date happened almost 900 miles away from the place where they’d met. A relationship soon blossomed. Many letters, phone calls, video chats, and coveted weekends together meant so much to them as they dated long distance.

On Saturday, stories were recounted and shared about that country music concert, Fenway Park, Citgo, and Katherine and Pete’s randomly meeting at what would seem a coincidence. From the very beginning, their friends and family listened, supported and encouraged them both.

You can not help but smile when you see the two of them together.

It was only fitting that one of the best days of their lives would be celebrated in the city where it all began.

Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Cecilia’s Parish in Boston. Laughter, gentle gazing into the eyes of each other, and the sweetest smiles exchanged as snippets of their story and glimpses into their hearts were shared.

They are both compassionate, kind, and have a heart for serving others.

There was an absolute, collective joy for them as they walked back down the aisle to start their new journey together.

After family photos at the church, we traveled to Alden Castle for their reception and wedding party photos.

If you saw my behind the scenes stories on Instagram, you may have noticed that they had the best tribe ever. They were ready to dance with them during photos and the dancing continued as soon as their band opened up the dance floor.

It was the best party!

Katherine and Pete, thank you so much for the honor to be part of your day and your lives for the past year. It was a joy getting to see all of the people who love you celebrate with you. I’m so excited for you two, and will always be cheering you on!! xo, Shawon
