It’s Tuesday, and I’m so happy to share a few favorites from Heather and Dav’s Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding this past Saturday.

While celebrating her birthday last year, and enjoying an amazing night out, Dav proposed to Heather and she said yes. Forever a memorable birthday and special day in their life, they now have an even more special day to add: 8/18/18.

She has the kindest heart, and he is a great dad. Two of the qualities that they love about the other.

On their new journey together, he looks forward to always put a smile on his girl’s face and she looks forward to growing old with her best friend.

Yes, Saturday was that day of the weekend when we were supposed to have pouring rain and thunderstorms passing through Boston for most of the afternoon. Heather and Dav did not let the threat of rain and thunderstorms shake their day and they were perfectly okay to snuggle underneath umbrellas to enjoy their day and the gorgeous views of Boston Harbor.

We started the day with them both getting ready at the Hyatt. It was great that their getting ready, the ceremony and reception were all held at the same venue.

Originally, the ceremony was to be held on the lawn overlooking the Harbor, but because of the threat of storms, the ceremony was held in the Olympia Room. Although it was held inside, beautiful light poured in from the floor to ceiling windows and the views of Boston Harbor were stunning.

Heather’s dapper nephews walked her down the aisle, and it was heartwarming to hear Dav say how beautiful she was as she walked closer to him.

There were many tears of joy and happy laughter throughout the ceremony.

These are the hands that will give you strength when you struggle, and support and encouragement to chase down your dreams.

There friends and family celebrated the lovely couple as they walked back down the aisle together and the celebration would continue later in the Skyline room as the sunset and the city lights filled the room.

Congratulations, Heather and Dav!! It was an absolute pleasure to be part of your day and get to know you both over the past months. Dav, or as you’d say David with an e, thank you for graciously laughing with me as I made sure I pronounced your name correctly with a little help from the Internet. I’m so happy for you two and your sweet girl Ariana!! xo, Shawon
