Brand Photoshoot with Brenda, The Sugar-Free Mom

I’m so excited to share a few favorites from a brand photoshoot with Brenda, The Sugar-Free Mom. Brenda is not only a fantastic blogger, author, wife, and mother but also a great friend. As a brand photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her several times over the years, and our time at the studio for her newest project – The 30-Day Sugar Elimination Diet – is no different. As always, it was a joy to work with her!

The 30-Day Sugar Elimination Diet is Brenda’s latest project, and it’s very near and dear to her heart. Her journey of eliminating sugar from her diet and kicking a sugar addiction to the curb is inspiring. I’m so glad she’s sharing it with the world.

Not only is she sharing her story, but she’s also supporting others through their own sugar addiction. On her blog, The Sugar-Free Mom you can find a library of recipes that support a sugar-free lifestyle, keto or low carb, allergy, and family-friendly options.

I find it remarkable when you can share your story to help others, and Brenda does that perfectly. She’s relatable, down-to-earth, and, most importantly – real. It’s easy to feel like you’re the only one struggling with your diet, but Brenda’s story reminds the reader that they’re not alone.

The 30-Day Sugar Elimination Diet is a whole-food detox to conquer cravings & reclaim health, customizable for keto or low-carb. Brenda takes you through a 4-week process and includes meal plans and recipes that are easy to follow. Shopping lists are also included. Win-win!

She has been working on this cookbook for months, perfecting recipes and testing them on her family and friends.

When she reached out to me about photographing her author photos for the book, it was an automatic yes; I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.

We started our consultation by preparing her wardrobe. Earthtones made sense as her book would be focused on nutritious foods and fresh whole food recipes.

During her consultation, we also chose a few studio set designs. On the day of her photoshoot, I had an idea to also include an array of fresh fruits and vegetables. I specifically chose complimentary colors that wouldn’t clash with her wardrobe.

One of the things I love about Brenda’s recipes is that they are always made with love and oh-so-delicious. She uses fresh and healthy ingredients to create meals that are good for you and taste great. I think her recipes are so successful because she takes the time to develop them until they are just right.

Another thing I love about Brenda is her passion for helping others. She has a heart for sharing her knowledge and helping people reach their goals. I know that so many people will benefit from her newest book.
