Taking the Tech Stress Out Running Your Business

For this month’s installment of the Women in Business Spotlight, I’m SO excited to introduce you to one of the most creative, resourceful, and intelligent online entrepreneurs I’ve ever met … Sharice, of Sharice & Co.!

Sharice is a marketing tech who takes the technology-related stress off of business owners’ plates so they can focus on planning, creating, and growing their business. Keep reading to learn more about who she is, what she does, and how she makes the world of business ownership a little brighter.

Q: Why did you start your business or choose your profession?

I had no intention of starting a business. I began freelancing to make extra money and as a way to gain experience for my future dream job. The longer I was freelancing, the more I realized I was meant for entrepreneurship. 

At some point, I stopped looking for jobs and started focusing on getting more clients and building a service-based business around my skill set and experience as a web production specialist. Now my business focuses on building online courses, membership sites and tech services for coaches and consultants.

Q: What’s the thing (or things) you love most about what you do?

There are two things I love most about what I do. One, I love seeing an idea for a course or a digital product go from just an idea to reality. I don’t think it gets more magical than taking something that didn’t exist and bringing it into existence. 

Second, I’ve been so fortunate to work with really smart and talented people who have ideas that aren’t just focused on profitability, but on making a bigger impact. To have a hand in helping them make a greater impact on the world feels really special.

Q: What’s something fun that most people don’t know about you?

I’m an avid bowler. I was the captain of my high school’s bowling team. I still regularly bowl today. 

Q: Share a favorite book, podcast, or word of wisdom to someone who’s just starting their business. 

One of my favorite books that I recommend everyone read is You are a Badass by Jen Sincero.
