Wedding Photos at The Villa at Ridder Country Club | Janette + Monty

Janette and Monty’s family and friends have witnessed their beautiful relationship over the past few years, and on Friday during their ceremony, they all responded with a resounding “Yes!” that they were so right for each other. Friends, your Tuesday is about to get a little sweeter because the moments from Janette and Monty’s wedding photos at the Villa at Ridder Country Club are incredibly heartwarming and beautiful.

The day started with everyone in preparation for their wedding day at a local hotel nearby. He had a beautifully wrapped Tiffany box and a letter waiting for her, and she had a lovely surprise and letter waiting for him.

It was an emotional day, with so many high notes of love throughout from a thoughtful, caring, kind, sincere, genuine, giving, warm, and joyful couple.

These words are not only mine but were shared from their parents, their best man and maid of honor, their officiant, and so many others on their wedding day.

It only took six minutes together when they first met at a speed dating event to lead to happiness, and after a few dates, it felt as though they’d known each other forever.

Their evening ceremony was held in the fully bloomed gardens just outside The Madera Ballroom a couple of hours before sunset. The iron wrought pergola where they’d stand to say their vows was beautifully decorated with a soft palette of pastel blooms. Also adorning that space was the ceremony broom that they would jump before walking back down the aisle, married, partners for a lifetime. Their faces were filled with so much joy as they “Jumped the Broom”.

I mentioned their ceremony was a couple of hours before sunset, and that meant that the light was perfect for photos. Because most of the wedding party and some family photos happened before the ceremony, we had stunning light for Janette and Monty’s photos. I know you want to scroll down right now, but give me one more minute.

After their gorgeous photos together, that you’re waiting to see, it was time for their reception in the Madera Ballroom. There were classic, timeless and personal touches throughout their day and it continued in the decor of the reception space. They love traveling together, and the place cards at each table were from places they’d visited. LOVE!

They swayed and smiled during their first dance to Whitney Houston’s ‘I Believe in You and Me’. The moment was magical, emotional and filled with love.

When I asked them over a year ago what they wanted to see and feel from their wedding day photos they told me they wanted to see their story, see their family and friends, feel warmth, relive every moment, travel back in time, and to feel the love and joy.
