Cohasset Harbor Inn Wedding | Danielle + Jason

It was an honor to photograph Danielle and Jason’s Cohasset Harbor Inn wedding in Falmouth, Massachusetts. The inn is perfectly nestled on Cohasset Harbor with beautiful views especially at sunset. The entire wedding party got ready at the inn which was perfect for spending time photographing both the bride and groom for the getting ready portion of their day.

We started the day with Danielle and the bridesmaids amongst laughter and celebration as they helped the beautiful bride prepare. The colors of the day were inspired by sangria, and each of the bridesmaid’s gowns was a color that you will find in a fruity mix of sangria. I love to hear how wedding day colors and themes are chosen and reflect the couple’s personality.

Danielle had all of her gorgeous details ready for me to photograph. One very special detail was added to her bouquet and a complete surprise from Jason. It was a beautiful charm with a photo of her father in honor of him. There was not a dry eye in the room as she opened the gift from Jason and read a card that he had written to her. I love, love moments like these!

After spending some time with Danielle, and headed to Jason’s room to capture a few moments with him and the groomsmen before their first look. I always bring the best man along to keep the groom focused while he waits for his bride to appear. A groom hasn’t told me this, but I think it helps to keep him calm before the first look.

Their first look was simply beautiful. They were incredibly happy to see one another. At this point, I’m typically saying aww over and over behind the camera as they take this moment in together.

After some portraits of them together, I had time before the ceremony to photograph the bridal party as well. This was great because after the ceremony, we only had to gather the family for portraits, and the bridal party could enjoy cocktail hour.

The ceremony was in the afternoon, just before sunset and the light was warm and full of glow as Danielle and Jason said their wedding vows to each other.

I love to photograph the sweet glances of couples looking at each other during the ceremony and as they say their vows. Beautiful, priceless moments.

The reception was a fun night of celebrating the new Mr. and Mrs. It was such an honor to photograph their love for one another, their love for their family, the sweet embraces, and all of the wonderful moments of their day that they will cherish for a lifetime.
