Cape Cod Intimate Backyard Wedding | Genny + Luke

This past Saturday, I had the honor of photographing Genny and Luke’s Intimate Cape Cod wedding. Although their plans changed to having an intimate celebration, the joy expressed and shared with their family on their wedding day was indelible. I’m delighted to share a few of those joyful moments and more about their day.

Almost four years ago, their love story began in Richmond, VA. It only took about 30 minutes into their second date for Luke to see that there was something special about Genny. Not long after that, he knew that he’d found the one.

These two foodies light up the room together, and I’m sure when Waffles, their sweet pup is around, even more sunshine is added.

Not only did they celebrate their special day with their parents, siblings, and grandparents, but friends from near and far were also able to join in virtually.

The day was beautiful, with a perfect ceremony setting as the sunshine glistened off the lake at Genny’s family home.

I loved their celebratory walk down the aisle as their family cheered and celebrated with them.

We’d later make our way to Oregon Beach for more beautiful moments of the two of them together.

The celebration continued throughout the afternoon with their first dance, laugh out loud toasts, and tears as her dad played and sang a special song that he wrote for their wedding day.
