Boston Seaport District Engagement Photos | Janette + Monty

It’s been a month full of beautiful weddings and engagement sessions! I honestly get to work with the most amazing couples, and today I can’t hit the publish button fast enough to share a sneak peek of Janette and Monty’s Boston Seaport District Engagement photos from last week. Read more about their story, some of the things they love, and enjoy a few favorites from their engagement session.

Janette and Monty met over two years ago at a speed dating event. It only took six minutes together to lead to happiness and you can see it through their eyes and in their smiles in every single photo.

A couple of months would go by after that night of meeting each other, and they went on their first date at Babbo’s Pizzeria.

We were able to stop into Babbo’s for their engagement session, to take a few photos of where that one date would lead into many more to come.

Their story got a little sweeter this year while this travel-loving couple was spending some together in the UK.

Janette had scheduled an afternoon tea, and Monty was planning to propose.



The moment that they arrived at the Langham Hotel in London, Monty spoke with the staff to get them on board with his plans.

Wanting to keep the ring close by his side, Monty would enjoy their tea time while never taking his coat off. Too funny!

The timing became just right the moment Janette stepped away to the ladies room for everything to fall into place. When she came back, the champagne was poured, sweet notes of Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love For You” were chiming across piano keys, and warm emotions filled the room. Monty asked Janette to marry him and she said yes!!

We had the best time at their engagement session; it seems like I’ve known them forever! I think I told them that more than once as we strolled through Boston’s Seaport District.

Janette and Monty, I am pumped for you two and can’t wait to celebrate with you next year! Yay!!
