It was an honor to photograph Vanissa and Ruddy’s Indian Pond Country Club wedding this summer.  Their wedding day was postponed for a year as Ruddy served a military deployment. The tears, warm hearty hugs, laughter, and joy between the two of them was indelible.

Ruddy proposed to Vanissa on a day that she least expected.  Her entire family was gathered to celebrate her and her accomplishments, and little did she know, a night honoring her would turn into her a night truly honoring her as Ruddy asked her to be his wife.  Through the tears streaming down her face, she said yes!!

Vanissa was a stunning bride, and her warm smile was contagious.

Together they danced, together they laughed, together cried.

Their first look was truly an emotional time, and they were able to just be and enjoy the moment together.  The bridal party was gathered shortly after their first look for portraits.  Summer weddings are perfect for vibrant citrus colors, and the bridesmaids’ dresses in tangerine were radiant and paired with the groomsmens’ light gray suits.

The wedding ceremony was held at United Church of Christ in Canton, MA, and the reception was held at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA.

I can tell that Ruddy keeps Vanissa laughing!!  He had a “fainting” moment after their kiss, and went in for another kiss with an added dip.
